"We don't charge any license fees on the open-source core. What you pay covers implementation effort, customization, and training. The project-based model suits customers who want to self-own their system (on-premise, no vendor lock-in). Post go-live, customers can self-maintain or purchase an annual support package."

"How is custom project pricing determined?"

Accepted Answer

"Pricing = effort (man-days) × man-day rate + third-party licenses (if any). Effort is estimated from specific scope: number of modules, customization complexity, branches, users, integrations. Blended VN market man-day rate is around 1–2.5M VND/day depending on team quality. "Does pricing include hardware and third-party licenses?"

Accepted Answer

"No. The quote covers software implementation effort only. NOT included: physical/cloud servers, e-invoicing licenses (Viettel/VNPT/MISA), corporate digital signatures, Power BI/Tableau licenses (if used), end-user hardware (scanners, thermal printers, POS). These typically add 50–300M VND depending on scope."

"Can I pay by phase / milestone?"

"Yes. Default split is 3 milestones: 30% on signing, 40% on UAT pass, 30% on go-live. For larger projects, we can split further by module or use escrow to reduce risk on both sides. The founder is open to terms that fit your cash flow."

"What about post go-live maintenance cost?"

Accepted Answer

"Two options: (1) Self-maintain with documentation and ad-hoc consulting per hour; (2) Annual SLA support package = 15–25% of project value/year, covering bug fixes, updates, technical support, and re-training new employees. You can switch to option (1) once your internal team has mastered the system."

"What is the Founding Partner Program?"

"Since Exvee ERP is in early stage, we offer special perks for our first 3–5 implementation partners: Founding Partner discount, direct founder access without intermediaries, priority feature requests, and bilateral case study collaboration. In exchange, customers accept some early-adopter risk (e.g., scope refinement may iterate more than for mature projects)."
